Dear Helena,
This term I have enjoyed getting to know you better and becoming good friends with you, I also enjoyed
going to volley, even though we didn’t win any games it was fun because I made new friends and I had
a good time.
Two school values I have shown this term are Ako and Manaakitanga. I have shown Ako by helping my
peers when they need it and I have shown Manaakitanga by caring for my friends and other people in
my school when they are mad, sad etc.
One of the goals from my learning pathway artwork I achieved was getting better at maths, I achieved
this goal by listening in class and figuring out the answer step by step. People who have helped me
achieve this goal are my friends because when I am stuck on a question or part of a question they will
tell me how it is solved so I understand.
A goal from my learning pathway I want to work towards is not talking when the teacher is talking
because when I do I have no idea what we are doing or I get in trouble so I would like to work towards
no talking in class while the teacher is talking.
I am excited for term 2 because I get to come back and see my friends and learn different things.
Part of me is happy that is it the last day but the other half isn’t because I’ll have to wait till next term to
see my friends again unless I see them in the holidays. I am looking forward to playing all the sports
next term and all the other sports throughout the year, I am looking forward to joining all sports because
I love sports and I really enjoy playing them.
