On Friday

On Friday was fun and also very funny. I enjoyed Friday because when me and my sisters got home we went shopping and then my dad was telling lots of funny jokes and stories and me and my sisters got to go to the shops and get treats and I got a block of chocolate, drink, chips and a ice block and my sisters also got other yum things. But one thing I didn’t enjoy was when we had to wake up early to take our dogs fora walk, the time we had to get up was 5:00 am and got back at 7:00 but even though me and my sister and dad had to wake up early it was a very good walk. When I got home I had a shower and ate breakfast and watched T.V with my whole family.

                                                                                

  

Sylvia Park

On Sunday me and my friend, went to Sylvia Park to watch a movie but there were no movies we liked to we just walked around and went to the food court and got butter chicken and a frozen coke. After we ate we were just walked around and went shopping. I had a very fun and funny day with my friend and I hope we get to go out again together.

The Milky Way

Hello, This is a presentation of the Milky Way me and my group did the people in my group are Akanesi, Constance and Kensington. This presentation is about the Milky Way, I hope you have learnt something from reading our work and hope you have enjoyed what we have had to research.

Today

Today is Friday the 22nd of June 2018 and this morning we will be doing our Inquire which involves Matariki in the afternoon the Kia Manawanui syndicate will be doing Inquire again and a Investigation to finish off the day we will be having a whole school assembly.

Good Morning, 

Today the Kia Manawanui Syndicate girls are going to Tai Chi, I am very excited to do Tai Chi again because everytime we go we always share something positive, negative and a random act of kindness with eachother. Something I enjoy about Tai Chi is that it helps me improve my confidence with the girls in my class and it helps me relax when I am upset in the morning.

Technology/Graphic

On Thursday was Technology and we are making phone stands, a phone stand is something that holds your phone while you are watching a movie or reading a recipe ect. A phone stand is needed at time like if you are at home and you want to watch a movie you can get out your phone stand and put your phone on it and watch a movie. Here are some examples above of what a phone stand is.

This week we had music with Caleb I enjoyed it a lot because of the games and because Caleb was doing funny jokes and he was also very fun.

Inquire!

This week for inquire we are learning about Earth and Beyond. Everyone in the Kia Manawanui Syndicate were put into groups and they got to choose a topic they wanted to discover, I am in a group with Constance, Akanesi and Kensington our topic we are focusing on is the Milky Way.

On Thursday the Kia Manawanui syndicate had technology and it was very exciting because everyone was changing groups and the group I was in was graphics our teachers name is Ms Ferguson, she is a funny teacher. Tai Chi

TAI CHI

Today the Kia Manawanui syndicate girls did Tai Chi in the hall. First we all did something we were taught and then we all got in a circle sitting on a chair and we were saying out positive thing about the weekend and out negative also what we did as a random act of kindness, My positive was at going abeselling and my negative was falling in the water with my buddy while doing kayaking, my random act of kindness was cleaning the house for my parents.  

• One thing I learnt today was that you should always be patient and you will get what you want.
• A struggle I had was trying to speak clear and loud so everyone could hear me because i'm a little sick.
• Something I learnt about one of my peers is that they didn't enjoy orienteering but they did enjoy abeselling

Today's word we were focusing on was  patience, the word patience means to me is being calm when waiting in a line for a ride or to get food.
