What I Did In The Holidays

What I Did In My Holidays
In the morning my dad woke me and my sister Deandra up at 5am to take our dogs for a long walk when we got home me and my sister both had a shower and ate breakfast after we ate we got ready for school we walk school with a positive mind set.

In the holidays me and my family went to Mission Bay beach 2 weeks ago, I really enjoyed going because. when we got to the beach we  saw all of my favourite 5 cousins and my favourite Aunty and Uncle.
After we had a big swim we went to get some ice cream and went across the road to the park.
The day was a very sunny day and I was glad it was because I was really looking forward to going to the beach. And I am really looking forward to going again but maybe to a different beach.

Another thing I did in the holidays was going to Mary-Jane's house for a few hours and we tried to make slime but it didn't work and we were a little sad but then we got over it and went outside and started playing around.

I hope you enjoyed reading what I did in the holidays!

Technology/Pancakes

Pancakes:
You will only need 1 egg, 1 cup of milk, 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of sugar. First step is to put the flour in you bowl then the sugar next will be the milk and the last  Ingredient is the egg. Once you have all your ingredients you can start mixing all your ingredients till you can't see any lumps, when you have finished mixing you get out your pan and heat it up then put some butter on the pan then you can put you a little bit of your mix in the pan at a time. Once you have used all your pancake mix you can start eating your pancakes with some chocolate syrup.

Here is a photo of what your pancakes should look like when they are done:

Talent Show

Talent Show
On Thursday the 5th of April 2018 Tamaki Primary had a talent show and the kids that were performing were the Kia Manawanui students.

The reason we did the talent show was because the Kia Manawanui students are fundraising for our camp that is coming up.

The group I was in was a very big group and our group had lots of shy people in it and I was one of them but we just keep practicing and that made our group much more confident and louder. We had to pacitice lots on our dance moves and what we were going to sing and rap.

We had many visitors, family and friends there were 12 performances, I was in a group with Kensington, Leilani, Taonga, Akih, Teresa, Aletheia, Briana, Bianna, Coralee and Carra. Our group did a rap, singing and dancing. Our group worked very hard on this performance and we tried our best to be as confidence as possible and the song was about confidence and we showed the audience that we were confident.

There was a special family member of Akanesi's that came to sing at our talent show he is known as General Fiyah and he sang 2 songs 1 of the songs were Here to stay and the other song General Fiyah sang was Three houses down.

At the end everyone took photos with General Fiyah and had some food because we have been working very hard for this performance, last night was a extremely awesome night to see my friends beautiful talents.
