WALT: Edit a recount
On Tuesday the 25th July 2017 room 8 went to Kiwican in the hall. We had a new topic for the term, it is called resilience. The coaches Mr M and Miss Lilly told us to come in and sit down on the mat.
First we said our chants and listened to the people. Then we played a cool fun game where we had to be silent bands and act out different feelings and emotions. In my group we had to act out angry. I played the guitar with an angry expression.
Afterwards we talked about the things that can make us feel happy and sad. Then we played a game called statues and everyone had to get into buddys of 2. We had to chose who would be the statue and who would be the creator. The creator has to move the statue around when Mr M gives us a emotion.
Then we finished Kiwican and came back up to class quietly.
Today for me has been an exhausting day for me and my friends but I still had lots of fun.
My highlight today:
- Playing the statue game.
- And when we were talking about what the diffrent emotions are.
